Cheeky shopping trip!

I know everyone is guilty of it, but how long can the excuse of "It's my birthday!" really work? Although I think it's all subjective and we should wake up feeling like it's our birthday every morning, I used that excuse for my mini shopping spree today! (And it isn't even my birthday yet!)

I got all of these items for under $40. I love love LOVE finding good deals and being able to stretch my money while still looking fab! Or so I like to think. ;)

I went into the local mall to pick up my Sephora birthday gift and just happened to take a stroll past Forever 21, which I think every girl can say is just dangerous. Having worked as a manager at F21 for nearly 5 years, I really try to avoid the store at all costs, but you really can't beat the inexpensive prices for clothing you will probably only wear a few times.

I found this amazing black romper with white and pale pink flowers, and a polka dot background. I have an extremely poor body shape when it comes to rompers (mainly filling them out in the bottom portion) but this one fit like a glove. It has black lace lining the shorts and a small belt to accentuate your waist. The most exciting part of the day was that this was the most expensive item I purchased. I also found these cute, pretty much completely sheer pj shorts, that I thought would be super cute to just lounge arou?"?nd the house in. The last things from F21 were the two turquoise (my favorite forever and ever) necklaces.

As I was leaving, actually planning to walk right out the door and not look at any other shops whatsoever, I found myself drawn into H&M. Surprise, surprise! They had sale signs everywhere, how could you say no?

I found this amazing cream perfectly oversized sweater. It has a pocket on the front with 3/4 length sleeves. I knew I would love it come fall, and at $10 (yes 10!) I couldn't pass this up. I will probably pair it with some cut off shorts on chillier summer nights! I took one step further into the store and found these amazing printed pants that screamed Zoella at me, so of course, I got them. I then spotted this pretty simple black sleeveless top, which I thought would look great paired with the printed pants. I'm doing some traveling soon so that just may be my airport outfit! The silver rocker-esque necklace was just the cherry on top of my shopping trip. (Did I mention I did this all on my lunch break?!) I found it as I was going to the register, and couldn't say no. I think it's the perfect statement necklace without being extremely in-your-face.

I sure hope my shopping itch has been satisfied for a little while, if not, I may need to extend my birthday excuse until the end of the month!

XO!
