June Favorites

Happy Sunday!

How is June almost over? I'm one of those people who count down the days left of winter, grasping onto any glisten of warm anything to keep me chugging through the snow. Now it's almost July and I'm wishing the days would slow down so that summer doesn't whiz by before I know it.

I've decided to jot down some of my favorites each month. I'm not sure what this might consist of; beauty, food, hair products, decor, randoms, etc. Knowing me they will probably just be a hodge podge of randoms! Here are my favorites for this month.

From left to right: Batiste Dry Shampoo, Starbucks Ceramic Mug/Band of Outsiders Collab, MAC Turquatic Perfume, Naked Basics Palette, White Barn (Bath and Body Works) Honeysuckle Candle.

Batiste Dry Shampoo in "Wild" and "Light and Blonde" I'm sure by now everyone and their mom knows about how amazing this dry shampoo is. I have the hardest to manage hair, thanks to my dad and his ringlet curls, so for me going that extra day in-between shampoos is essential. These retail for around $7.99 depending where you find them. I usually go to my local Ulta to re-stock. For all you brunettes, they also make one with a hint of color that helps combat that dreaded dry shampoo "residue" look. Find Batiste here.

Turquatic by MAC is the absolute perfect summer scent. It's light and airy, but also has a very distinct smell. The notes in this perfume are: Anemone, Lotus, Orris & Corsican Blue Cedar.. This is definitely a scent that is hard to describe but is unforgettable. I highly recommend taking a sniff the next time you walk by your local MAC counter. Find Turquatic here.

Oh me, oh my. This little beauty was a present from my wonderful boyfriend for my birthday. I'd been eyeing it for some time now, yet it was just one of those things that I couldn't pull the trigger on purchasing for myself. The colors are absolutely amazing and are the best formula, especially if you're a beginner. I've found myself reaching for this little baby every single morning. If you want to try Urban Decay, but don't want to shell out the price for one of the full size Naked Palettes, I highly recommend this one! Find the Naked Basics Palette here.

I can't say enough about how much I'm loving this candle. Or maybe I could explain by telling you that I've already bought two back ups, and a few back ups for my back ups. My boyfriend and I think the most important part of an inviting, warm home are the smells and lighting. We go to Bath and Body Works every season to re-vamp our candle selections. This trip I found Honeysuckle. I can't even begin to explain to you how amazing this smells. (The lady at the check out told me she hates it, and her mom loves it. Hmmm…) The notes in this scent are: sweet honeysuckle vines, peony petals and weeping willow. Again, hard to imagine, but if you find yourself at a BBW anytime soon (this is a limited edition…..*sighhhh*) give it a smell! They also almost always have sales on their 3-wick candles. Don't ever buy them full price! Find Honeysuckle here.

Starbucks  / Band of Outsiders Collaboration ceramic mug. This beauty caught my eye while I was on a mid-day coffee run. I normally refrain myself from buying the mugs at Starbucks, although I do love checking them all out. This one though was one I couldn't resist. I didn't know much about the collab before I purchased it but did a lot of research after. I think this is a conversation starter type mug and I couldn't leave without it. They are EXTREME limited edition, and will sell out very quickly. Find yours here.

This wraps up my June Favorites! I hope you've enjoyed your June just as much as I have! Here's to summer hopefully not going any faster than the first part has!
